Philip Awadalla Laboratory

We are the Medical and Population Genomics Laboratory at the Ontario Institute for Cancer Research, the University of Toronto and the University of Montreal. Working with genomic data and through the development of computational tools and models, the laboratory addresses questions relevant to how genetics and the environment influences the frequency and severity of diseases in human populations. The lab is the lead host of the Genome Canada funded Canadian Data Integration Centre, a platform that hosts and provides bioinformatic services to the research community wishing to exploit health related Big Data resources for precision genomics and digitized medicine.
